identity
If identity provides us with the means of answering the question ‘who am I?’ it might appear to be about personality; the sort of person I am. That is only part of the story. Identity is different for a person and will differ in personality.
it resembles what a person looks like or what there humour is and personality is like, the facial expressions they make. Personality describes qualities individuals may have, such as being outgoing or shy, internal characteristics, but identity requires some element of choice

my own cut outs
I liked taking these pictures because I was able to make and cute out my own personal shapes and fit the models face into different positions to fit each shape, it was a fun activity.
nina chakrabarti
Nina was born and spent her early life in Calcutta, India. She moved to the UK in her teens carrying her stamp collection under her arm and little else. She studied illustration at Central St. Martins and at The Royal College of Art, London. It is very affective the way she uses the colour black heavily to really enhance the look she is trying to create, she hides the identity of the people well and really catches your eye. The art on the girls faces are also drawn nicely accurate, define and precise.

Barbara kruger
Barbara Kruger is a famous photographer who was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1945. at first she was Working for Mademoiselle magazine, then was quickly promoted to head designer. She layers found photographs from existing sources with pithy and aggressive text that involves the viewer in the struggle for power and control that her captions speak to. I find her work extremely fascinating due to her creativity of words that tell a short story of the picture it is wrote on. it really makes you think of what she is trying to say and work out what the words are meaning and how they are connected to the picture.
my response to kruger
I was found of doing these kind of photographs because I am able to express my thoughts with words and hide the identity of a person and tell it with words.
USING TEXT TO TELL A STORY
I enjoyed taking these pictures because although I hid my identity I was able to express feeling and emotions through words an phrases.
